About Us

Dr Anne Rowan brings more than 15 years of experience in the education sector. She began her career as a Post Primary English teacher before moving into higher education, where she lectured on teacher training programmes and led large-scale research projects. She completed her PhD in 2023, exploring the experiences of international students with physical disabilities and mental health conditions in UK higher education.

Anne’s work in equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) has allowed her to build strong networks and advocate for underrepresented groups. Her research expertise centres on participatory approaches, mixed methods and systematic reviews. Through both her previous roles and her consultancy work, she has delivered bespoke research projects spanning EDI, belonging and inclusion, project evaluation, and leadership and organisational change. She has extensive experience scoping, designing and carrying out research within local government agencies, secondary education and higher education.
